So far none of these things have worked, and i'm very frustrated about this. lowered graphics & played in windowed mode The Forum recommends that you save right before travelling, so if push comes to shove and you need to roll back to a previous save (which, by the way, I think you need to do), you dont. I dont know if you know this (you probably do), but Travelling is VERY buggy. new install again but with only base game and world adventures Re: Annoying traveling glitch « Reply 1 on: December 09, 2011, 10:46:37 PM ». had my game create a new folder in my documents left only nraas mods (traveller, errortrap, overwatch) in my mods folder removed mods/cc, with all the variables listed above Ive applied ellacharmed fixed world to starlight shores by replacing the old file (i have backup). Other worlds also do not generate world caches. It would crash after a certain amount of play time, I suspect this is because my simcompositorcache file has hit its max of 500mb. different variables (sim, household, destination, save file) Ive noticed my starlight shores world is not generating world caches. I've played sims 3 many times before and never had this problem, though this was my first time playing it on windows 10. every time, the loading screen appears, the loading bar moves one little tick, then suddenly the game closes and goes to my desktop. So lately i've been playing sims 3 again, and yesterday i wanted to play world adventures specifically, only to find that my game ctds on the loading screen when i try to have my sim travel to a different world.
